Cheddar Camp Rules
Welcome to Cheddar Camp we hope you enjoy your stay with us. On your first day please don't arrive till 11am and on your day of departure please leave by 12 midday
Arrival: please go to reception located at the Garden Cottage at the front of the main house with the porch you will be directed to your pitch and parking space.Rubbish: please use marked bins for recycling glass, plastic, cans, paper and food waste. Please take large bulky items like chairs, broken tents home for your own disposal. If not willing to use the recycling bins please take all rubbish home with you.
Dogs: dogs are welcome at Cheddar Camp but they must be kept under proper control at all times please clear up if your dog fouls the site, bins are provided.
Gas Cylinders: please recycle in the bin marked Tins or take them home with you for your own disposal.
Generators: are not allowed without prior written approval. If you are booking a group you must arrange it with us first.
Campfires: we allow small campfires in which you can bring your own wood or you can purchase the wood on site for £3.50 per bag. Please light your fires at a sensible distance from the tent and not inside a gazebo. Fires must be fully extinguished before you go to sleep. You must not collect any wood from the surrounding farm land or woods do not trespass.
Pond: is out of bounds please don't enter pond 'deep water'
Behaviour: we expect all visitors to comply with our regulations and to show respect for all other campers, our staff and neighbours and the land. Where the site rules are not respected we reserve the right to refuse admission or ask all members of a group to leave the site at anytime. No groups under the age of 17 will accepted unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

We do not welcome rowdy groups you will be asked to be quiet or turned away off site. We do not want other campers disturbed, but we do not mind chatting round the campfire. No radios or loud music, guitar playing shouting/loud laughing after 10pm. No money will be refunded if you are asked to leave.
Any person or group that breaks any of the rules of the campsite or causes any damage or disruption or disturbance or leaves a mess or rubbish will be charged accordingly.

We accept no liability for anyone getting hurt or injured, on the property we accept no liability/responsibility for loss of personal property, damage to vehicles, or any other unforeseen circumstances we do not accept responsibility for the security of your vehicle or belongings whilst on site.
